Just finished a divine book about the life of Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel. It was titled Coco Chanel: A Biography by Axel Madsen. There was so much I learned not only for myself but in general about what it takes to follow a dream. Chanel had drive, passion, work ethic, suffered immense hardships, a life that stemmed from such tragic circumstances. Coco Chanel rose above it all.
I am a little obssessed with it, the rebirth of the brand after WWII, the men in her life and any film that depicts Coco. Now that I read this particular book though, the Audrey Tatou film isn’t quite as developed of a story (but it was visually stunning).
